The Gin Rummy Association has announced their latest tournament, the Desert Classic, which is set to take place next weekend. The tournament will begin on February 22nd and continue until the 23rd. the tournament will take place at the Aqua Caliente Casino and Hotel in Rancho Mirage, California.

The Partnership tournament will take place first and then will be followed by the Singles Desert Classic which will take place over two days. The Partnership tournament will see players play five (250 pt games) and players must win four games before losing two. The four game winners will make it to the finals. In the Singles Tournament players will play eight (200 pt games).

Players who decide to play in both events will get a discounted price for their entry fee. The Partnership fee is $300 while the Singles fee is $600. Those who decided to compete in both pay only $750 instead of $900.
